Bergen, NY Weather

Named after a Norway city, Bergen has made a place for itself in Genesee County in the Batavia metro area. While it is the second smallest town in Genesee County, it has been large in the hearts of each Rochesterian with its annual Bergen Park Festival as well as many other historical sites and Bergen’s Museum of Local History. It’s located northeast of the county and was part of the Triangle Tract and 10,000 Acre Tract or Connecticut Tract.

This small town, which was erected from the town of Murray also helped to form the Town of Byron. Ralph and Rosie’s, a local pizzeria and deli has become as fast household name to those of Bergen with their famous sweet sauce and dollar slices. A stop that too will become a household name to those passing through.
